When transitioning your kitten to Karoo Kitten, it is important to do so gradually by slowly decreasing their current food while increasing the Karoo portions. Depending on their age, kittens should be fed 2–4 times per day at the same time and place; you can initially soften the food with warm water, though any uneaten portions should be removed after 20 minutes. Most importantly, always ensure fresh water is available for your kitten or queen at all times.

Kittens (1–3 months): Young kittens starting out require between 20 g and 50 g per day.

Kittens (3–6 months): As they grow and become more active, increase their intake to 35 g to 60 g.

Kittens (6–12 months): For older kittens approaching adulthood, the range adjusts slightly to 30 g to 65 g.

Queens (2–8 kg): For gestating and lactating queens, portions scale significantly to support their energy needs, ranging from 50 g to 75 g for small queens (2–4 kg) up to 125 g to 155 g for larger queens (6–8 kg).
