Determining the correct portion size for your dog is essential for their health, and when transitioning to Karoo Adult, it is important to do so gradually by slowly decreasing their current food while increasing the Karoo portions. Always ensure your dog has access to fresh water.

Toy & Small Breeds (1–10 kg): Feed between 25 g and 115 g for very small dogs, increasing to 85 g to 195 g as they approach 10 kg.

Medium Breeds (10–30 kg): Active dogs in this range may require 195 g to 440 g, while those with low activity levels should stick to 145 g to 335 g.

Large Breeds (30–60 kg): Depending on exercise, portions range from a minimum of 335 g for low-activity dogs at 30 kg to 830 g for high-activity dogs at 60 kg.

Giant Breeds (60–80 kg+): These dogs require significant fuel, starting at 630 g and reaching upwards of 915 g for highly active dogs weighing over 80 kg.

Quick Tip: These amounts are daily totals. If you feed your dog twice a day, remember to divide these gram measurements in half for each meal!
